However, I was especially drawn to this unpolished carving, with its lighter and flatter blue. The pyrite is still sparkly, perhaps standing out more because of the more muted blue. When I rub the surface with my fingers, I can create a darker version of the surface. My partner bought this for me for my birthday – never ask a rockhound what they want for their birthday, LOL!!!
