Bobblehead: Tupac Shakur (Baltimore Orioles)

*Note

The Baltimore Orioles hosted a Tupac Shakur bobblehead giveaway on May 8, 2026, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The highly sought-after collectible features the late hip-hop icon wearing a black Orioles uniform and matching bandana while holding a baseball bat.

The Inspiration Behind the Bobblehead

The unique promotion celebrated the hip-hop legend’s formative years spent in Maryland. Tupac Shakur lived in Baltimore as a teenager and attended the prestigious Baltimore School for the Arts. The Orioles collaborated on the design directly with Shakur’s estate and the Tupac Amaru. Shakur Foundation.

Event Details

Game:

Orioles vs. Athletics

Giveaway:

The first 20,000 fans received the bobblehead.

First Pitch:

Tupac’s sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Response:

The promotion drew a massive crowd of 39,311 fans—the largest home attendance since Opening Day. Interest was so high the team even ordered an extra 5,000 bobbleheads.

Because the giveaway was limited and heavily hyped, it instantly became a major collector’s item.

The Oakland Athletics won the game, defeating the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 4-3.
