Note: Not 100% sure that the faceted stone is quartz. It could be faceted glass. But it doesn’t seem to contain glass bubbles, and the facets appear sharp and not chipped or scratched, unusual for vintage pieces. I’m fairly certain the inlay is Mother of pearl and not opal. The inlay DOES exhibit strong white fluorescence, almost like a light source.
