7 pounds/ 15.7 ounces

3620.5 grams

NOTE: This was sold to me as quartz, but it’s likely that it’s made from glass or reconstituted quartz. My best guess is glass, so I’m categorizing it as glass. I acquired this at a time when I didn’t know much about crystals: the difference among natural, synthetic, created, etc.

This material is STILL being offered online as natural, but buyer beware! GLASS! GLASS! GLASS!

There IS a natural strawberry quartz, but this isn’t it! Caveat Emptor!!!

Still, this is a cool piece, but I likely overpaid for it (as I recall, I paid $100 – yikes!!!). Its origins should have been disclosed, but, unfortunately, this area of collecting is filled with bad actors.

Learn and live!
