If you’re a rockhound, you know
that there is no such thing as leaving behind an interesting rock.
However, in the big bad world, the “others”
simply sigh deeply and say, “Why don’t you ‘leave ‘er right there?’”
Hence, I introduce the term “Leaverite/s**”
for rocks that have little or no value in the non-rock world but mean the world
to us.
**I did not coin this word, but I heartily
approve of it!
