Fuchsite Mica Mineral Specimen

Silvery green specimen. A shiny medium-green silicate mineral with long, thin crystals.
Found in metamorphic rocks like marble or greenstone. Its greenish color is derived from iron. A white variety, which does not contain iron, is called tremolite.

This is a green silvery rock. In these photos the specimen looks bluer than it really is.

11.1 ounces
312 grams

Acquired in a thrift store in Florida.
